A PC scrubbing of student text books depicts Islam in favorable light

It is always much easier to brush aside the details or avoid problematic situations than it is to deal directly with a problem. It always has been and that is why we have a word for it: Cowardice. That is exactly what our education system runs off of. We are falling behind the curve educationally in this country not because Americans have all the sudden lost their ability to learn or that teachers are not paid enough. We’ve lost direction morally and the willingness to think critically. Our nation’s education system is now, and has been for quiet sometime, an institution for indoctrination based heavily on social sciences that are slanted towards irresponsible and unrealistic world point of views. So Eric Holder was right that we are a nation of cowards though not by the standards he laid out. In fact, it is just the opposite and it all starts with stories like this. Continue reading
