Just wanted to say, “Hi.”
As you can see on the top right of the Western Experience, Jason has so graciously invited me, Mike Casey, to become a contributor here.
So without further adieu, and as Horace Mann, 18th century American Educational Reformer, used to say, “Hello all.”
Jason and myself became acquainted when he ran the Partisan Report and I was posting at Politics and Critical Thinking. Both being natives of Louisiana, Jason up in the northern areas and myself in the Southeast region, we developed a quick friendship. We have recently co-opted a mutual undertaking, The Conservative Political Report which has taken up much of my time.
Obviously, due to time constraints, a busy life, and just being spread to thin, coming over to the Western Experience to write just seemed to be a natural evolution.
I am looking forward to posting my thoughts on matters of the day which are pertinant to a principled conservative outlook on life. I hope you find them as enjoyable and thought provoking as Jason’s posts. Of course, dissent and discourse is always welcomed since none of us will always see eye to eye on everything.
