I got a letter from Mitt Romney the other day, seems he`s running for political office and he really, really wants my support. I was curious enough that I did`nt follow my instincts and throw it in the burn pile – then I opened it and saw that the RNC was also involved in this purported ‘personal” letter from Mitt – always follow your instincts.
I had already opened it, so I read a few lines while trying to get my instincts to quit yelling “I told you so” in my inner ear.
It did`nt take long, four sentences in, this gem of political intelligence danced across the page – “… the American dream is in dire jeopardy…”
Now, far be it for me to take issue with an obviously intelligent man that was the only Governor that ran in the Olympics, or ran the Olympics, or ran past the Olympics – whatever, Excuse me Governor, but WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN? I knew that bit of information the last time you ran ( you do that a lot, don`t you?) for political office.
Mr. Romney, the last time you ran for office – and lost, did you think that was the end of your responsibility? YOU are the one that now has the gall to ask for MY help?
I am an average American, I live paycheck to paycheck (except for the last year I have been mostly unemployed -due to your political brethren`s skills at not doing THEIR job) I don`t have a national voice, or the money and influence it takes to be heard, or acknowledged, but you sir, YOU DO – where have you been while the American Dream was being systematically dismantled?
I, and a few million more of like minded Americans have been doing everything in our power to do what the lapdog, treasonous press WILL NOT do – make public who, what and how the American Dream is under sustained attack by Anti American politicians and other lower life forms that seem to be drawn to them like flies to a turd.
Why have you not been involved in this effort? You talk a good game now, when you want something, but where were you on September 12, 2009 when over a million of your Countrymen and women went to D.C. and surrounded the Capitol to say NO! ?
Where were you on September 12, 2010 when we did it again? Then backed it up in the mid term elections. Where were you when Obamacare was bought, paid for and passed behind closed doors on Christmas eve? Do you think some of the millions you now willingly spend to “secure your legacy” – or as you put it in your letter”…get out the truth..” could have made a big difference in stopping that soiling of the Constitution before it happened?
You should be aware that a lot of us don`t think you are sincere, we don`t think you have the cojones to do what is absolutely required to drive a steel rod into the cog of the socialistic machine that is being quickly built – you should also be aware that we ARE going to elect you out of necessity.
Prove us wrong. You have asked for this chore, you have asked for our support and our trust, we grudgingly will provide both to you – but do not doubt for a second that we will hold you to a higher account than we hold Obama and his cohorts, we will demand you be better than we think you are.
You have said what you will do on day one, back up that talk with documents – draw up the executive orders you will execute on day one regarding obamacare, Keystone, domestic oil drilling, as well as the rescinding of the job killing EPA mandates and EVERYTHING that Cass Sunstein has put in place.
Draw up the legislation you will propose to the new Congress we are going to give you – make those documents, as well as your promise to execute them, public.
On the day after the election results are certified, PUBLICLY call on President Obama to sign those executive orders you drew up – (much like GWB did) as a good will gesture that shows his acknowledgement of not only the election, but the will of the people. Of course, he will not do it, but that will demonstrate for all to see, exactly what he really is.
Oh, and we expect you to pursue ANY and ALL criminal charges against ANY member of the Obama administration, or ANY member of Congress regarding crimes committed in the last four years, there will be NO “..let`s just move on…” these people made a knowing and willing effort to damage this Country, it is your RESPONSIBILITY to hold them accountable.
Well Mitt, thanks for the letter, now you know what I (and millions more Americans) require of you in exchange for our support and trust - still want the job?
I am a democrat, however, I like listening to both sides because I am a fan of education more than I am of an affiliation. With that said, can you specifically inform me of who and what charges may be brought against PRESIDENT Obama (I’ve noticed most people refer to him as if he’s a common neighbor without an important position) and his staff members? Also, please inform me of how you know of these crimes (since you’re calling for charges) but others do not?
We can begin with the way the legal bondholders of GM were simply(and illegally) pushed to the back of the line for repayment, then we can jump to the use of acorn in his 2008 campaign, it is documented that his campaign initially listed the $800,000 they were paid as lighting/rigging stage type expenses, but when called on it, they admitted it was for get out the vote services(which later included some members being charged with voter fraud), now we can discuss operation fast and furious – and before you can type Eric Holder – Obama stepped in at the last minute to claim(according to several legal sources, illegally ) executive privilege. I`ll leave you to do your own homework as to sourcing – the information is easily available.
There are many unanswered questions about how, and to who, stimulus money was given, we know several of the recipients are Obama donors, and we know that special deals were made that may be illegal – let`s remember the words I actually used “…pursue ANY and ALL criminal charges against ANY member of the Obama administration, or ANY member of Congress….”
The short answer is, if you truly want to know about PRESIDENT Obama – you simply look to his history, the folks that he has surrounded himself with, willingly, for his entire life.
It is without question he lied and covered up his past in the 2008 election, it is without question he has lied directly to the American people, it is without question he has willingly made the choice to sacrifice the economy and well being of the American people to simply implement his own radical socialist ideology.
The information is easily available to document his true ideology – you simply have to be willing to look, and believe what you see.
Even though I am sure it was done with animosity, thank you for referring to him as PRESIDENT Obama. It is out of respect for the office, if not for the person. On another note, I certainly will research the start you’ve given me. Just so you realize, again, I am for what’s best….what’s right. I’m just wondering where were your words when ex-President Bush was lying, covering up, making mass destruction decisions that weren’t true, flew Osama Bin Laden’s family out of the country during a “no fly zone” time???? I didn’t subscribe to you then, but maybe you did speak out AGAINST these issues…..then again, maybe not.
I believe everyone has and will come short in some area, but what’s better for the common good should be the ultimate question. I don’t claim to be well informed. I don’t claim to know it all. I only claim to be a concerned citizen without argument.

Bush certainly made some monumental screw ups, I was not yet writing articles, but my TV( as well as my wife) heard some raw language.
The first requirement of an American President is a love and loyalty to Country – there can be no compromise on that. Bush met that requirement, there are multiple examples both in action and photograph that are indisputable. His choices and actions were not always the best, but NONE were designed to harm the People, or the Country – the same cannot be said about Obama, he has, by deceit and design, attempted to “fundamentally transform” this Country against the will of the vast majority of Americans. That deserves contempt, not respect.

Thank you or the research/reading links. Question: if you and others of your party are voting for Romney because you “have” to, not because you “want” to, who would you rather see running against President Obama? Why not Mitt? Do you seriously think he will win and why? What happens if he doesn’t?

BB, you`re welcome, I hope you and your friends can get a better understanding of the true nature of our President. Just so you know, I don`t have a problem with Obama living his ideology, lots of blood has soaked into various parts of the planet for the absolute right of Americans to believe and stand for whatever they want to – my problem is with the person that hides and lies about their true intentions simply to gain the power to affect other Americans lives and futures.
If Obama had been upfront about his intentions, or if the national press had made any effort to fulfill their Constitutional responsibility by making all the background information about Obama available (instead of actively concealing it) and BHO was still elected, that would be the INFORMED will of the people. That is not what happened.
I would have liked to see Sarah Palin as the candidate, ignore what the national press has printed as truth, if you apply the same hard research to her as you do with BHO, it becomes very obvious that the DNC and the mainstream media have conspired to depict her in a very bad light, mostly, I would guess, out of fear that the majority of Americans would learn that she is simply and unabashedly, a true American patriot that will not be silenced. I expect that she will be on the ballot in 2016. I have covered her at several events,(when you see people when they don`t think the camera is on them, you get a very good read of them) I have spoken with people that know her personally – she is the real deal.
Mitt Romney will win this election, I believe in a landslide, there are many Americans that simply do not participate in polls. I make my judgements based on what I hear at the grocery store, the gas station, the restaurant – Americans see through the mask and the lies of this administration.

It surely does depend where you live! I`d say the chatter in Austin, Texas, or Madison, Wisconsin are markedly different than, well, almost anywhere else:) I travel some and my completely unofficial, non scientific, gut feeling, stands – I guess we shall see. Happy reading.

Will you or will you not help campaign by knocking doors or making phone calls? Will you or will you not donate money?
Whether anyone on the right likes it or not Mitt Romney is our candidate. You have two choices; you can accept that fact and get on with the business of getting him elected (and by implication getting Obama out of the White House), or you can retreat into bitterness.

Now let`s deal with the rest of it. Let me clear you up on the knocking on doors and donating money points – I WILL NOT be knocking on any doors for Romney, or any other candidate for office. I WILL NOT be donating any money to ANY candidate or political party – you have seen how they spend OUR money, right?
Romney is the nominee, we will elect him, (you did read the original piece, right?) but that does not mean I have to like the way he (like others before him of both parties) bought the nomination.
It does not mean I have to like the fact that my choice is limited to bad and terrible.
Regarding what you do on Saturday mornings, good for you for knocking on doors and being involved, more Americans need to be involved in the process of who will govern them.
As for “what about you” that you ended with, I`ll guess that you do a minimum of research on the candidates you support, you might want to do a little homework on folks that you seem to insinuate are`nt living up to YOUR standard of volunteerism. There are many jobs that need to be done in the area of politics, I prefer to make public what others will not, to make Americans aware of what their Countrymen are doing on their behalf, as well as pick up the considerable slack of the MSM.
