Finally someone in Canada has done some mathematical modeling on something that is a real danger to humanity, ZOMBIES!
Researcher and mathematician Professor Robert Smith? and his group of colleagues studied the effects of a zombie outbreak and what it could mean for humanity. Their conclusion is simple.
“hit them [the undead] hard and hit them often.”
Further evidence suggests if we try and negotiate, we’re screwed.
Now I understand we are living in a more secular progressive society and it might behoove us to try and understand the plight of being a member of the undead in a animately existent world. But hey, I ain’t the one trying to suck their brains out their nostrils, now am I?
Daniel W. Drezner over at Foreign Policy Magazine has thoughtfully worked over the possible international relations scenarios a new zombie class could cause and how various political subsets might deal with them.
The Libertarians over at Reason are even weighing in their opinions on a “hypothetical zombie attack.” And not one mention of what two consenting zombies do with other people’s brains behind closed doors is their business. Sheesh!
Clearly this new stock of Brits is freaked out by zombies rather than in the old days when their PM would have given a rousing speech on the fascist zombie threat to the Empire and the Queen. Causing every Englishman or woman’s blood to boil and go out and kill anyone with even the slightest hint of gray tone to their skin or bags under their eyes.
In any case, Memeorandum had this article posted as related to the BBC run zombie story, Obama to hold call with supporters. Not exactly sure why.

I’d be tempted to say it’s silly to spend so much time, money, and energy on a completely nonexistent problem, but then again, there’s always global warming!
My question is which one is more believable?
I’m going with the zombies.
Zombies are very real and the picture says it all. They are already destroying humanity. There are over 60 million of them here in the U.S. alone.
